Seasons Greetings from Boulder Landscape

It seems like yesterday we were watching the fireworks and mowing our lawns. Now we are watching the fire and wrapping our gifts while trying to stay warm.

During this time, please don't forget to keep your home safe. The Boulder Landscape Family wants to give you that little reminder to help ensure the winter season goes as smoothly as possible.  If you have a fireplace, take proper measures to ensure it is cleaned properly. This not only helps keep the fire burning, but can also help prevent a chimney fire. (It may help keep Santa's suit clean!)

We also want you to be safe as you walk out your door. When the snow starts to fall and the need for ice melt arises, know that it is best to use calcium chloride on your concrete paver walkway or driveway. It is our suggestion to use a less abrasive ice melt to keep your concrete pavers looking good for years to come. In case you're a pet lover, make sure to use a pet-friendly ice melt. Both sodium chloride (rock salt) and calcium chloride can be toxic to pets and can irritate their paws.

As you enjoy the upcoming holiday season, give thanks to all the great things in your life such as family, friends, and remote car starters!

Have a wonderful holiday season!
